I know it doesn’t seem like it here on the prairies today, but spring is here! With that comes spring weddings and so many other wonderful occasions.
If you’ve been thinking about a custom order for a special occasion, now is the time to act on it as I am making some changes on my custom order process.
I have some information to share on customs and how I plan to accommodate them during this season of my life.
As most of you know by now, last year I began the process of building the sister component to my business @meganraeknowles - And to say the Universe had other plans, well that would be a bit of an understatement. I had planned on really focusing on that side of things, but life happened and I needed to pivot. So I did.
I feel the winds of change once again, that nudge and that calling to shift. I think I’ve been resistant to this for a while because custom orders have always been what set me apart from others. It’s ‘my thing’ and in my humble opinion, my most unique and best skill set. @bluejeansandpearls has been my full time gig for the past five years and it has taught me more than I ever thought possible. And I continue to learn, adapting to the ever changing landscape that comes with being a small business owner. These lessons have led me here, to this current phase of my life and I am so grateful for the opportunity to expand.
Resisting your soul’s calling can only happen for so long, eventually you are face to face with the calling and simply can't ignore it any longer. So, after much consideration and a lot of introspection, I am honouring that call and making some changes.
That’s what this mini blog series is all about.
Head to Part 2 for the energetics of my custom work and a bit of the why behind this shift.
