Though technically not a "stone", goldstone is a manufactured gem, also known as "Aventurine glass." Goldstone is a glittering silica glass and can be brown, blue, purple or green by using different metallic crystal compounds in the glass, usually copper, cobalt, manganese or chromium oxide.
