Titled “Wild Heart” - this heart-shaped botanical plaster art piece has been mounted on a simple round wooden plaque. An elegant velvet ribbon has been attached for ease of hanging. The neutral colours of this work of art make it very versatile for home décor.
Give your loved one flowers that will last forever! This piece captures the imprint of botanicals grown in the artist’s yard – yarrow, calendula and periwinkle. It is a flower fossil!
This delicate piece of art is made of hydrocal white gypsum using a casting technique. Clay is rolled out and then botanicals and other items are pressed into the clay to create a single-use mold. Plaster is then poured on to the clay and left to set.
The botanical plaster cast pieces are made by the artist one at a time, all by hand. Each is unique and one-of-a-kind.
**Note** - This piece of artwork should only be hung or displayed indoors. It is not a kiln-fired ceramic piece. To clean, use a feather duster or dry soft cloth.
